As a child, I often felt silenced, my voice stifled in a world that didn’t seem ready to hear me. Growing up, I learned early that my thoughts and feelings didn’t always have a platform, and I became adept at retreating inward.
But the human spirit, even in its quietest moments, craves connection. For me, that connection came through creativity, correspondence courses, and the magic of penpals.

In the silences that surrounded me, I found solace in creativity. Drawing, writing, and crafting became my sanctuary—a way to channel my thoughts and emotions into something tangible.
